Butterflies are not too common a sight here on the desert. This one was captured on camera in Elfrida by the community center.
This little feller was seen on our bird feeders and I have not yet identified him. We get a lot of birds stopping over for a few days during their migration North or South. Nothing like a free meal, a bath and some rest for a day (but watch our for our feline critters!!)
I am originally from New England and joined the US Navy after high school. Trained as an Electronics Technician (avionics) working on computers and computer-controlled systems. Approximately 23 years later I retired from the US Navy and flip-flopped between TN and MA before settling in AZ in 2005 where I met the greatest woman ever. We can be found occasionally at local Farmer's Markets selling our crafts. Our Arts & Crafts business sells full size framed pictures and note cards of the photos shown on http://www.joneal.vtchome.net.
